I wanted to suggest an idea that could add some much-needed variety and nostalgia into the current HCF map cycle — while still keeping things fresh, competitive, and aligned with modern Cave mechanics.
🔁 OG-Style Map Rotation (With a Modern Twist)
Instead of only rotating through partner item-heavy meta maps, it would be awesome to introduce an OG HCF-style map once every few resets. The idea is to recreate the feel of older HCF — more raw, creative, and strategic — but still fast-paced and polished like today’s Cave experience.

Only include core partner items (e.g., Bones, Switchers, Strengths).

Remove all gimmicky or overloaded items (Vines, Midas Touch, etc).

Keep PvP skill-based and less item-reliant.
This isn’t about copying old-school HCF 1:1 — it’s about reimagining it in today’s meta.
⏳ Map Duration & Faction Scaling

These maps could follow a 2-week playthrough format — short, focused, and impactful.

Tailored for larger factions (5–10 mans), without allies.

Keeps competition tight and encourages strategic team-based PvP.
🌍 Terrain and Building

Introduce natural Minecraft terrain instead of the usual flatworld: hills, rivers, trees, cliffs, etc.

Disable Base Tokens and Faller Tokens for these maps:
⚔️ PvP-Based Events Over PvE Bosses
Let’s shift away from the repetitive PvE bosses at spawn and bring in actual PvP-focused events:

1v1 Tournament Arenas: 32 players enter, fight through brackets, and the top 4 go into a final FFA (no teaming).

Skybridge PvP Events: fast, risky, high-reward.

Small, skill-based minigames or arena fights that reward precision and timing.
More fighting, less filler.
🏆 Community Competitions & Recognition
To bring more life and engagement into these OG maps:

Base Building Competitions: judged by staff or voted on by the community.

Most Kills, Best KDR, Longest Deathless Streak, etc.

Winners could receive exclusive tags, prefixes, or visual cosmetics — not obtainable through crates or store purchases.
This keeps the map rewarding without requiring payouts, and gives players something unique to grind toward.
