CavePvP Strike Rules

Below are all the ways a faction may receive a strike and or disqualification.

There is no way to receive a strike or disqualification on our server if it is not explicitly stated in this document. New rules may not be added mid-map, new rules will always be added once the current map has concluded.

1 - CHEATING

• This does not include autoclicking, autoclicking is allowed.

• This includes being frozen for cheating, if a player logs out whilst frozen and or declines a screenshare, the faction in which they are in will be striked.

• This includes any member in your faction, knowing the member, level of contribution, or any other factor will not be included in the decision for a strike.

2 - PUNISHMENT EVASION

• This is only for bans and blacklists.

• Situations like this are not always open and shut thus, strikes may be up to the discretion of our faction management team depending on the circumstances.

• In addition to a strike, inviting a blacklisted player may result in a ban or blacklist for the leader of the faction and or the person who invited the blacklisted player.

3 - BOOSTING

• Any method of artificially inflating points for any leaderboard or event on our network.

• Depending on the severity of the discovered boosting, this may not be a strike rather an instant disqualification.

• Boosting disqualifications may be for a single map, a specific number of maps, or lifetime. This is up to the sole discretion of the management and ownership teams.

4 - BLACKLISTED FOR ANY REASON

• This rule is intentionally broad to cover any actions that players may abuse that are not explicitly listed in this document.

• If a player is blacklisted on the network, it is up to the management team to decide if the reason for the punishment calls for strike(s) and or a disqualification.

5 - ASSOCIATING WITH BLACKLISTED PLAYERS

• This rule includes inviting disqualified players, from the same map, into your faction. Is it the invitee’s responsibility to check the publicly posted strikes. Ignorance is not an excuse for this rule.

• Association is intentionally broad to cover any actions that players may abuse that are not explicitly listed in this document.

6 - EVASION

• Attempting to evade strike(s) or a disqualification will lead to an instant disqualification

• Evasion disqualifications may be for a single map, a specific number of maps, or lifetime. This is up to the sole discretion of the management and ownership teams.

• This rule is enforced on a case by case basis and is entirely up to the management team.

7 - GATE KEEPING

• This is the act of holding or controlling a KOTH, Citadel, or Event in a way that prevents fair contesting.

• Gate Keeping may result in a strike dependent on severity and is up to the sole discretion of the management team
