CavePvP Strike Rules

Here are the following ways your faction can get a strike:

  • Cheating (non autoclicking)
  • Ban/Blacklist Evading
  • Pearl Glitching (Fasts only)
    • There can be cases where we rule accidental pearl glitching.
    • If staff unanimously rule that it was 100% accidental, then the strike can be lifted.
    • The best way to ensure that it was an accidental pearl is to time warp back, or let the person kill you.
      • Try to record the pearl, or record yourself trying to let the guy kill you.
  • Allying (Kits only)
  • Boosting (can result in instant DQ)
  • Gatekeeping a KOTH/Citadel cap MAY result in a strike (up to Head-Staff and severity)
  • Blacklisted for whatever reason MAY result in a strike (up to Head-Staff)
  • Assisting or getting assistance from another team to help them win F-Top
    • If over a certain number of members in one faction play in another faction, that's F-Top 1-3, which can result in a strike for one or both factions.
      • If over 1 person on a 3/4 man map, over 2 people on a 5/6-man map.
      • This rule applies to Fasts only.
  • Inviting or associating with players who were at one point in a disqualified faction on the same map.

Strikes can result in:

  • 1st Strike - 15% points deduction
  • 2nd Strike - 30% points deduction
  • 3rd Strike - 60% points deduction
  • 4th Strike - 100% points deduction

Point Deductions can take place either:

  • At the end of the map.
  • At the peak of your points.
  • When the punishment was issued.
  • Completely up to Platform-Admins, if you don't want to get striked, don't break rules.
    • Most first strikes of the map will take place at the time of punishment, and strikes after will most of the time take place at the end of the map when the faction has the most points, so that the deduction can be at its largest.

Typically, we do:

  • First strike is 15% of your points AT THE TIME of punishment.
  • Second strike and further is a deduction of your points at the end of the map (your peak).

Special actions to keep note of:

  • 2 or more cheating bans per Citadel will result in:
    • Your base is getting set to air.
    • Removal of faction bundle ranks. (the free ones)
    • Possible ban for the whole faction (up to Head-Staff)
  • Inviting a blacklisted player MAY result in a ban for the leader or blacklist. (up to Head-Staff)
  • Even if you invited a random person from chat, they played for 5 minutes and got banned for cheating, you will still get striked.
